About me

Daniel Nemec

My interest in physiotherapy was sparked at an early age while playing for the Austrian National Ice-Hockey Team and as a multiple Austrian Hockey League Champion. Playing a high impact and physically demanding sport required me to have physiotherapy early on myself.

While training to become a therapist, to my surprise, I learned that "physios" not only treat athletes but more commonly the average person suffering from everyday injuries and pain through work or hobbies. Realizing to be able to help such a vast amount of the population made it even more interesting for me.

After having worked in both in-and outpatient care at the AKH-Wien orthopedics department for almost 10 years I decided to use all the aquired knowledge to switch and focus solely on my private practice.

Outside of my work I fell in love with Rock-Climbing (mainly Bouldering) and Mountainbiking while using the rest of my free time enjoying arthouse cinema or taking on a new interior design project from friends and family.
